The Foundation of ADM - Vehicle Photos

It all starts with the vehicle pictures. Upon looking at CARPORT EXAMPLES, I see that some suggestions are in order. I have been doing vehicle pictures since 1998 and here are some suggestions.

Look at what the pro photographers do for the OEM's. You never see the tight in, bubble shot. Also, many sloppy, in a hurry pics.

Here are some suggestions that make a difference:

Turn on the lights - high beam
Turn on 4 way flashers - calls attention to the vehicle
Get low, take a knee
The higher the megapixel you use, the better the interior looks, low light, no blur. Use high megapixel SLR, these are your most important ADM tool, use great equipment.
point the vehicle directly into the sun
turn the vehicle for rear shots.
Wheel shoots are great, from the ground with the tire turned to the stops. Get part of the vehicle in the shot.
Don't fall for the oldest trick in the game about no keys in the ignition. Keys in the ignition are good, makes the customer feel the vehicle is ready to drive away,and in great condition.
Make the shot say, drive me off the lot and love me.
