I am doing some market research for a potential business I have come up with. I am trying to find out what other dealers lose per month on average by taking their aged inventory to auction. Or if you are not taking your aged inventory to auction, where is it going? Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The more you can convince customers that you're on their side and looking out for their best interests, the better you'll do. I do attend "automobile university", listening to sales oriented and motivational CDs and, yes. tapes! Ziegler, Cardone and my favorite, Gitomer, who's more an outside sales guy, but makes me smile. I think that it's easier walking in in the morning having listened to ideas rather than jams or newstalk. Good luck, and feel free to send any questions, etc.
